Difference between JHD910BT and JHD916BT: A lot. The JHD916BT is a full featured unit that has these extra features. Bluetooth hands free phone answer & call. The JHD910BT is just bluetooth to a bluetooth enabled headset. No hands free calling. The JHD916 will also work with a Sat tuner for those who would like to listen to XM or Sirius while they work. The JHD916BT also has USB on the rear. Look at the JHD910 if you want the whole nine yards in a surface mount.
Bluetooth mike: The manufacture only includes the JMICHFP mike with one model. The JHD1635BT. HDR feels that you are buying a bluetooth radio you want it to work out of the box, so we included it with the radio. NOTE If the JMICHFP mike is not plugged into the radio the Bluetooth functions will not show on the radio.



Do any of the radios you sell on Heavy Duty have a built in Satellite radio: Radios with built in Sat tuners are only available in OEM radios. Offered as the factory radio in a brand of truck. Aftermarket manufactures have found that it was better to have in plug into the rear of the radio as a add on. They have done this for at least 10 years. Heat seems to be a issue when it is built into the radio.
Why do I need a Heavy Duty Radio: All radios need to be heavy duty if they are used all day long. All radios need to be heavy duty if the application is subject to vibrations, dust,wet or any rough enviroments. With your purchase expect that the radio will last longer in any application as it has been built from the ground up to last.
